Finn Acquires MFA

I am pleased to share that Finn Partners is bolstering its global team of 120 in the travel and consumer sectors with the acquisition of Missy Farren & Associates, Ltd. (MFA), a 20-person New York-based firm. In addition to clients in these areas, MFA brings accounts in wellness, nonprofit and adventure, and adds sports marketing, a new and exciting sector for FINN.
Initially, MFA will be known as MFA, a Finn Partners company and the MFA team will transition to the Finn Partners brand over the course of 2019. Missy Farren, founder & CEO of her firm, will serve as a managing partner at FINN. She and her team will move into FINN’s NY office in 2019.
MFA’s current and past clients include brands, athletes and national sports organizations involved with seven Olympic games, Westin Hotels & Resorts, Stance, US Ski & Snowboard, Peet’s Coffee, Confluence Outdoor, Mountain Collective, Cannondale, Schwinn, Chatham Bars Inn on Cape Cod and NutriBullet. This means that, on occasion, our hallways at FINN NY might be lined with snowboards, kayaks, bicycles and skateboards!
The acquisition underscores our commitment to continue FINN’s global growth. This move follows our acquisition earlier this year of The Brighter Group, a travel and tourism specialty firm in London. Additionally, given the ever-expanding industry of sports brands, activities and events, we’re looking forward to collaborating with the MFA team and evolving this area nationally and internationally.
