FINN Travel Lifestyle public relations practice is looking for an Assistant Account Executive to join our expanding team, and work with exciting clients including domestic and international destinations, transportation industries including airlines and the cruise industry, hotels and resorts (including property and brand level), and travel related services. The AAE will be part of an energetic, successful and award-winning PR Travel team, focused on a diverse range of public relations accounts in the travel lifestyle and tourism industry. Responsibilities include media relations, client relations, and writing.  We require someone who is a quick learner, rapidly executes tasks effectively, loves to multi-task, is detail oriented, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

At Finn Partners, an Assistant Account Executive assists in researching and analyzing issues relevant to the client, and assists in supporting day-to-day public relations account activities and administration.  We encourage every team member to excel, and fast track, by impressing us with capabilities above the norm.  


  • Write and distribute basic materials including pitch letters, news releases, backgrounders, fact sheets, bios, newsletters, prepared remarks and program elements
  • Develop pitches and work with targeted media on story development
  • Handle standard media requests
  • Research and monitor client’s business and industry to maintain a current knowledge base
  • Assist in research and preparation for new business pitches
  • Coordinate production and distribution of material with internal service departments to create print and video products
  • Organize and implement events and promotions for the client
  • Represent client at events or trade shows
  • Assist in account administration duties such as activity reports
  • Proactively develop relationships with external audiences (media, third party constituencies, etc.) to convey the client’s message
  • Contribute to the success of FINN Partners Travel & Lifestyle division


  • A bachelor’s degree
  • Prior PR agency work experience or internships
  • Travel/tourism experience is a plus
  • Spanish language skills are a double plus, but not a deal breaker
  • Experience working with traditional and social media strategies and campaigns
  • Strong project management skills; manages concurrent multiple projects
  • Strong communications skills both oral and written (including editing skills)
  • Experience using all Microsoft Office products
