Account Supervisor, Consumer Practice

As an Account Supervisor in our Consumer practice, you will be responsible for providing an amazing day-to-day client experience for our consumer brands. This includes leading client programs, managing account teams, keeping projects on budget and on time and contributing creative ideas for clients and new business. You are also experienced with and love consumer media, influencers and writing and are energized by training and mentoring junior team members to be future FINN stars.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Own day-to-day client experience; develop and cultivate relationships with clients, media, partners and stakeholders
  • Oversee operational performance of accounts to ensure quality work,  budget adherence, and on-time deliverables
  • Demonstrate tactical proficiency in media relations, including creating and driving both traditional and social media outreach plans
  • Play a major role in creation of communications plans and goals and manage against them
  • Manage account administration duties such as billing and financial reporting
  • Review materials (e.g., pitch letters, news releases, newsletters, brand messaging, social copy/content) 
  • Manage and mentor team members providing consistent feedback and developing growth and career goals

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, communications, public relations; agency experience strongly preferred
  • A thorough knowledge and love of consumer marketing and marketing techniques
  • Proven success building relationships with consumer media and influencers
  • Showcased success pitching stories to trade and top-tier media outlets
  • Experience managing influencer programs and relationships
  • Understanding of digital/social media platforms, trends and measurement approaches
  • Experience managing account finances including staffing, billing, and managing freelancers against a scope of work
