Virginia Beach CVB appoints FINN Partners for its UK and Ireland PR representation

London, GB – The Virginia Beach Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) has appointed industry-leading communications agency FINN Partners to head up its public relations in the UK & Ireland to raise awareness of the destination across key international markets.

The CVB already works with FINN Partners domestically in the US, and FINN Partners UK will leverage this work by providing dedicated media relations to promote the destination to UK & Irish travel media around the key pillars of beaches and outdoor adventure, rich history, art and entertainment, and food and drink.

The beautiful destination, set on the East Coast of the USA in the state of Virginia, offers visitors more than 35 miles of immaculate ocean waterfront and clean sandy beaches and is home to world-famous Lynnhaven oysters, along with a variety of water sports and outdoor activities, plus family-friendly attractions.

Focusing on promoting Virginia Beach as a hidden gem to travellers from the UK & Ireland, FINN Partners will use innovative communications, create bespoke press trip itineraries, and proactively pitch story ideas while drawing upon its strong portfolio of key media relationships to generate targeted coverage and increase visitor traffic to discover the destination.

Virginia Beach CVB is the fifth US tourist board to be represented by FINN Partners UK, complementing the existing US destinations of Capital Region USA, Destination D.C., Visit Orlando and Greater Palm Springs.
