Every day in 2020, almost 800 women – one every two minutes – died from preventable causes related to pregnancy and childbirth. And, almost 95% of all maternal deaths that year occurred in low and lower-middle-income countries. The U.S. infant mortality rate also has risen for the first time in more than 20 years.

During this discussion, brought together by the new GE HealthCare Foundation focused on these issues, experts, advocates, and thought leaders will explore the multifaceted healthcare challenges faced by mothers and discuss strategic initiatives to close these gaps
