FINNxHumble Future of Health Summit

FINN Partners and Humble Ventures are joining forces for the second year in a row to bring you the FINNxHumble House: an unparalleled opportunity for the global community of innovative visionaries at SXSW 2024 to discover cutting-edge ideas, nurture new interests, and connect with other professionals who share an appetite for forward-focused content and collaborative experiences.

The exclusive, full day of health innovation programming includes panel discussions, networking, media and live entertainment, running from 8:30 a.m. – 7 p.m. CST on Saturday, March 9, at The Cathedral in Austin.

Attending the event is a cross-section of preeminent health industry leaders and seasoned professionals from around the globe with insight and experience in the health, entertainment, government and technology sectors.

Open to health innovators, VCs, start-ups and journalists, FINNxHumble House will be the central destination for those who are pioneering ideas and partnerships to fix the broken health ecosystem and improve patient care. 

The event culminates with the #humblehang, featuring live music as well as interactive trivia and comedy.

  • White House-led Innovation: A delegation of regulators, including the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology, Bureau of Veterans Affairs, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and others, share their top priorities and initiatives, available resources and focus areas, and opportunities for collaboration.
  • Off Planet Healthcare – Shaping the Future of Space Medicine: ​Leading experts in space biology, astrogenetics, and space medical technologies will share their pioneering research and experiences in adapting terrestrial medical knowledge to the unique challenges of space.
  • Leveraging Health Technology to Close Care Gaps in Rural Communities:  Often developed and piloted in dense, urban regions, many successful health tech innovations and tech-enabled programs are developed without underserved rural regions in mind. Medical professionals explore how to ensure underserved rural populations will benefit from health tech innovations. 
  • Beyond the Brain: Exploring the Potential of Neurotech Solutions for Mental & Physical Health: Panelists delve into the possibilities created for society through neuroscience innovation, and where this will bring us in the future. Exploring technologies including Brain-Computer-Interfaces (BCI) and next-generation neuromodulation, this session will explore how neuroscience can propel societal progress.
