FINN Partners Promotes Ryan O’Grady to Partner, New York Health

O’Grady Recognized for Her Leadership and Driving the New York Health Social Media Group
NEW YORK – Global independent marketing and communications firm FINN Partners today announced the promotion of Ryan O’Grady to Partner, New York Health. The promotion, which recognizes O’Grady for her important contributions to growing the FINN New York Health group, is an acknowledgement of her leadership in founding and driving the business growth of FINN’s Global Health Social Media group and the outstanding, industry-leading client service it provides.

A digital strategist and content creator who leverages her expertise in thought leadership communications, dynamic storytelling, paid media, and social media analytics to help consumer-health, biotechnology, and pharmaceutical companies achieve their goals, O’Grady often serves as “in-house” social media expert for FINN client companies. She and her team provide counsel on techniques and approaches to communicating brand messages and initiatives consistently and effectively, and she has a decade of experience bolstering clients’ digital footprints and optimizing strategies across platforms.

Prior to her promotion, O’Grady was a vice president in the New York Health group, managing social media for client accounts. She continues to report to Tom Jones, managing partner, Head, New York Health and Pharma Sector. Prior to joining FINN, she served at the global purpose communications consultancy firm Porter Novelli beginning in 2018, where she worked as a digital strategist counseling pharmaceutical clients and internal teams on corporate communications, product launches, and executive thought leadership opportunities.

O’Grady has worked across a variety of sectors, including public policy, antibody discovery, and the supply chain industry, and activated social campaigns across disease states, including oncology, diabetes, cardiology, women’s health and several rare diseases. Her work through the years has included major social media campaigns that included announcing a company’s game-changing policy decision to reduce the price of its leading cholesterol drug, as well as the strategy for the first four LinkedIn Live events to ever be published by a pharmaceutical company on the platform.

O’Grady is a recipient of Health 2.0’s Outstanding Leadership Award and a member of the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association.
