FINN Partners Names Greg Swan Head of Futures and Client Transformation

April 27, 2026

New role strengthens the agency’s edge in converting emerging cultural, technological, and communications trends into action for clients.

FINN Partners, one of the world’s leading independent marketing and communications agencies, today appointed Greg Swan to a new senior role: Head of Futures and Client Transformation in the U.S. The position is designed to help FINN clients and teams move faster on emerging trends in AI, social media and integrated communications strategy.

In this role, Swan will focus on connecting foresight to action, with an emphasis on applied AI in marketing, social-first intelligence, earned-first creativity and modern campaign architecture. His work includes developing AI-powered innovation frameworks and tools, shaping high-value new business opportunities and building out a growing portfolio of future-forward client work across the agency.

Swan joined FINN Partners in 2024 as Senior Partner, Midwest Digital Lead. In that time, he helped shape integrated communications programs across consumer, B2B, and tourism verticals while elevating FINN’s capabilities in digital strategy, social media, influencer marketing and innovation.

What Leaders Are Saying

“Greg has an insatiable passion to find what’s around corners and make what’s next actionable for clients and teams right now,” said Dan Pooley, Founding Managing Partner at FINN Partners. “This new role reflects both the momentum he has already built and the opportunities still to come. Greg will continue to help clients navigate change, help teams develop smarter and more connected work, and help FINN continue evolving how we bring integrated communications and marketing solutions to market.”

“Clients do not need more trend watching for the sake of it,” said Swan. “They need partners who can help them see what matters, move faster and show up in more relevant ways. This role is about connecting signals to strategy, turning emerging tools into practical advantages and helping FINN and our clients build work that feels more modern, more integrated and more useful.”

AI Innovation and Industry Leadership

This appointment builds on several recent FINN initiatives, including development of proprietary AI-powered applications including AIristotleTM to build creative, content and communications that work with the gatekeeping algorithms of digital platforms and navigate the risks of narrative hijacking and manipulation; and Canary For CrisisTM, an immersive crisis simulation and training platform. Swan serves on the agency’s AI Team, established in 2023 to guide AI adoption and integrate new tools and technologies into FINN’s evolving work model.

Outside FINN, Swan is an active voice in the marketing and communications industry. He publishes the Social Signals newsletter, co-hosts The Cave Project podcast and has spoken at events including CES and SXSW. He serves as a judge for the Shorty Awards and the American Advertising Federation. His career includes leadership roles such as Chief Creative and Strategy Officer and Head of Creative Innovation, spanning advertising, public relations, digital, social and integrated marketing.

Swan is based in Minneapolis and will work across FINN’s national network in support of clients and teams.
