FINN Partners Expands Travel Portfolio with Cathay Pacific and Visit Orlando

February 18, 2026

The airline and the destination choose the agency’s expertise

Munich – FINN Partners Germany has kicked off 2026 with new clients, as it continues to expand its client portfolio in the travel and tourism space. With Cathay Pacific and Visit Orlando, the global communications agency has been named the agency of record for two globally positioned brands that reflect the growing complexity of modern travel communications – ranging from aviation to destination marketing.

Following a multi-stage pitch, FINN Partners prevailed over competing agencies and will now take over the entire communications remit for Cathay Pacific in Germany. Headquartered in Hong Kong, the airline is consistently ranked among the world’s top carriers and operates routes from Munich and Frankfurt to destinations across Asia and Oceania. In 2026, Cathay Pacific will celebrate its 80th anniversary, with FINN Partners supporting communications around the numerous initiatives and topics related to this milestone. The scope of services includes media relations, influencer relations, thought leadership, ambassador programmes, event activations, as well as trade fair support at ITB Berlin.

Following its pitch win in November, FINN Partners Germany began working with Visit Orlando, The Official Tourism Association for Orlando, the most visited destination in the United States and Theme Park Capital of the World, in December 2025. The team collaborates closely with FINN Partners colleagues in London, who also represent Visit Orlando. The partnership launched during a broader Visit Orlando marketing activation in Germany, highlighted by a media initiative tied to the Orlando Magic NBA game in Berlin, showcasing to German audiences that Orlando offers much more than theme parks. FINN Partners Germany supports the partnership with a full range of communications activities, including media relations, press trip planning, influencer relations and trade media support, all aimed at strengthening Orlando’s position in Germany as a compelling year-round destination.

“These new client wins demonstrate that our integrated approach and travel expertise provide exactly the right solutions for a wide range of communications challenges in the market,” says Anett Wittmann, Managing Director of FINN Partners Germany. “At the end of 2025, we announced three new clients from the travel industry – Baros Maldives, weloveholidays and Le Réunion Tourisme. To now start the year with two additional, renowned brands makes me very proud – especially of the team, whose passion and expertise drive full momentum and make continuous growth possible in the first place.”
