Carter Todd has spent the majority of his life as a corporate lawyer but in his spare time the Nashville based husband and father collects rare political campaign memorabilia. Buttons, banners and all but forgotten keepsakes of great historical value. For him it’s satisfying work and a fascinating hobby. And this weekend, the American Political Items Collectors – the national organization Carter has been part of since his teen years – will have its convention in Nashville for the first time. The public is invited to come and check it out – July 28 – August 1, Sheraton Music City.
