FINN Partners has one of the PR agency world’s leading and most respected healthcare experts as managing partner of its global health practice.
Since joining FINN Partners in 2019, Fern Lazar’s work has led to the creation of new services from the agency in investor relations, brand support, patient advocacy, scientific writing, medical communications and clinical trial patient recruitment.
She also oversees more than 200 staffers in 19 FINN Partners offices around the world, while continuing to serve as head of Lazar/FINN. At her previous agency, Lazar led Lazar Partners, the boutique healthcare specialist shop that had 22 staffers and $5 million in revenue when it was acquired by FINN Partners in 2019.
Lazar also has an eclectic work history and international experience. She speaks four languages, worked in the pharmaceutical industry in Basel, Switzerland, and advised Latin American and European companies on investor relations in the U.S. Lazar has also served as an executive at Edelman and Citigate Dewe Rogerson and worked as a soft commodities trader.
At the time of FINN’s acquisition of Lazar Partners, the firm boasted entrepreneurial clients in Europe and Israel, as well as Southeast Asia, which FINN saw as a developing market.
