The Work
When RealNetworks launched SAFR for K-12, its facial recognition software for schools, the goal was to build awareness and trust with administrators, parents, and the public. Our media coverage solidified this AI-driven solution as a leading, accessible safety technology, while elevating RealNetworks executives as highly credible experts.
We developed timely messaging that spoke to the growing urgency of school safety. To reach key audiences, we created a targeted media list and produced comprehensive launch materials—news releases and tailored story angles for education and tech media.
We executed national, tech, local, and education trade outreach with monthly pitching plans that secured feature stories and news coverage. Post-launch, we managed a wave of media interest and coordinated on-site news shoots to demonstrate SAFR in action. The campaign drove widespread coverage in top-tier outlets like The Wall Street Journal, NBC Nightly News, and CNET, significantly boosting visibility and engagement while earning invaluable trust through third-party validation.
