Discovery Education is a leading platform for digital learning content and tools for K–12 classrooms, supporting instruction across subjects like science, math, and literacy. It helps educators enhance student engagement through videos, interactive lessons, and curriculum-aligned resources.
When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, schools and districts nationwide shifted to remote learning practically overnight, increasing concerns about students’ mental health and well-being. Social-emotional learning (SEL) resources and additional supportive content from education companies like Discovery Education became essential.
FINN partnered with Discovery Education to engage education influencers on earned and paid media opportunities, increasing awareness around Discovery Education’s SEL resources and attracting leads.

The Work
We partnered with top education influencers to amplify Discovery Education’s social-emotional learning (SEL) resources across key platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook. Influencers such as The Responsive Counselor and Lindsay Fleming helped us reach more than 20,000 pre-K–12 educators with timely, relevant SEL content.
To ensure impact and alignment, we carefully reviewed Discovery Education’s owned assets and selected influencers known for their SEL-focused content. FINN provided clear messaging and support, working directly with influencers to schedule and share resources that resonated with educators and supported student well-being. We helped reach educators at a time when they were online seeking new ways to protect and engage students, connecting them—through trusted influencers—with the products they urgently needed.
