Professional Experience

Max DeFilippis’ first vivid sports memory came as a seven-year-old when he watched Joe Montana and Dwight Clark catapult the 49ers to a 28-27 win over the Cowboys in the 1982 NFC Championship, breaking his heart. More than four decades later, despite several tears shed from countless disappointments and failed expectations from his favorite teams, Max continues to follow the professional sports landscape, its athletes, partnerships and television ratings. He has used his insights and experiences in building and maintaining key relationships with decision-makers at top-tier media outlets to secure a multitude of stories in top-tier outlets for noted brands including the New York City Triathlon, Fan Controlled Football, Better Collective, Cannondale, and others. Max is also an avid endurance athlete and has passed his love of sports onto his son Liam, who spends his weekends swimming and pursuing his black belt in karate.
