Professional Experience
I’m a communications professional with more than three decades of in-house and agency experience in the media industry, public health and environmental advocacy spaces. I’ve worked for broadcast and cable news networks and in print and wire-service media, which has sharpened my writing and editing skills and I have extensive experience in crisis communications, executive voice and reputation, and message development. For the last several years, I have been the head of the FINN Health Editorial Services group, where we provide strategic guidance and create high-quality content to support clients’ reputations, thought leadership, and brand communications.
A man's judgment is best when he can forget himself and any reputation he may have acquired and can concentrate wholly on making the right decisions

How'd you get here?
I began my career in broadcast news, serving at NBC News, CNN and CBS News, and then took on leadership roles at The National Audubon Society and Goodman Media International, where I worked on a range of issues spanning sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, climate change, cancer care, and health equity, and provided media relations support for the Associated Press, PBS, and the Center for Food Safety – co-defendant in Monsanto vs. Geertson Seed Farms before the U.S. Supreme Court, among other clients. I joined FINN after serving at The New York Times, and I’m dedicated to making a difference in the world by helping clients convey important ideas with clarity, persuasiveness, and compassion, and communicate to inspire others to take action on pressing societal and health issues.
