Professional Experience
Championing people’s well-being from the battlefield to boardroom has been part of an ongoing journey to improve the human condition. Through the years, I’ve been privileged to lead at three agencies – Medicus PR, Hill & Knowlton and Makovsky – all selected as “Most Admired Health Agencies.” FINN has joined that elite circle multiple times as recognized by PRovoke Media. My career includes stints in an elite military unit, as an industry lobbyist, worldwide agency CEO, in public service and as part of one of the nation’s top private equity groups. The overall path has always been “make a difference!”
Medicine – to be dedicated to healing – requires imagination and collaboration. Imagine being healed. Imagine healing. Communicators unite the health ecosystem so that it rallies to do its best for the sake of the patient.

How'd you get here?
Communication was always an interest, specifically in health and gov’t-a passion for helping people stay alive and the decisions surrounding their care – recognizing there was no need to eliminate one path for the other. Thus, public policy, communication and healthcare always embodied my early roles – in the military as a paratrooper unit combat medic, in gov’t affairs for a global non-profit and in work with the Australian Government. On the battlefield or policy huddle, I saw how communication will always be part of the care.
