Professional Experience
I’ve spent more than 30 years working across wealth, investment and financial services, helping firms build stronger brands, sharpen their positioning and communicate more effectively in increasingly complex markets. My experience spans marketing, communications, media relations, reputation management and content strategy across diverse sectors including wealth management, asset management, private markets, ETFs, renewables, digital assets, tokenised investments and sustainable finance. Over that time, I’ve worked with firms across Australia, Asia Pacific and the UK, helping translate complex investment ideas into clear, commercially relevant narratives for institutional investors, financial advisers and clients.
Good judgement comes from experience. Experience comes from bad judgement.

How'd you get here?
I’m originally a country kid from the Hunter Valley in Australia and spent a year living in Denmark after school before starting my career in financial services marketing and product roles in Sydney and London with firms including Prudential, St.George Bank and later Russell Investments. I eventually moved into senior regional roles at Russell Investments, including Head of Marketing Asia Pacific and Global Head of Customer Experience, where I worked on major brand, client and communications initiatives across multiple markets. Over time, I became increasingly drawn to the mix of strategy, creativity and intellectual challenge that comes with communications in investment markets. That eventually led me into agency consulting, where I enjoy working across a wide range of clients, sectors and market issues each day, rather than focusing on one firm. Outside work, I’ve travelled extensively across every continent except Antarctica — which is still on the list.
