"Smile at your life and life will smile at you." - My Parents
I have more than 30 years’ of experience in health communications, and throughout the journey retain a passion for access to innovative treatment and vaccines. My energy and commitment is to improve the daily life of patients and prevent the diseases all over the world.
During the course of my career, I have run national and global professional and patient communications programs focused on prevention, disease awareness, and access to treatment in areas such as oncology, Aids, immunology, infectious diseases, vaccines, medical devices and biotechnology. I have worked on meningitis outbreaks in Brazil and in France as well as on efforts to eradicate polio eradication, to provide access to pediatric vaccines in Sub-Saharan Africa and the flu vaccine in Europe. Through the years, I have worked on launching new treatments such as Gleevec for cancer, Hepatitis C and Narcolepsy to name a few, as well as new vaccines such as Gardasil. Championing health innovation is my mission.
In addition, I have managed many situations requiring issues management in the areas of vaccines and treatment and outbreaks such as: H1N1, H5N1, Ebola, Zika and now Coronavirus.
I also enjoy working pro-bono for patient groups in the fields of oncology and women’s health.
