Professional Experience

It’s been a long and rewarding trip since I graduated from Dartmouth and then got my Masters from Boston University’s College of Communication. As an appointee to Chicago’s Department of Cultural Affairs, I worked closely with Mayor Richard M. Daley to promote the arts. I’ve served with wonderful colleagues on the Board of Directors of ReadNet, Inc., and The Support Network, Inc., and been honored byEbony and Black Noir Magazines, The Network Journal, and as The Support Network’s Woman of the Year. And I’m honored to be a part of Finn Partners as it brings a new approach to our industry.

If you're always trying to be normal, you'll never know how amazing you can be.

How'd you get here?

I began my career in public relations at another agency as an executive trainee, followed by a 10-plus-year stint in the firm’s Arts & Communications Counselors group, which is now also part of Finn Partners. I specialized in cultural and entertainment marketing and promotion and was a senior member of teams partnering with the Getty Center in Los Angeles, Chicago’s Millennium Park, Foxwoods Casino’s Mashantucket Pequot Museum, and numerous cultural sponsorship initiatives for Target, UBS, Condé Nast and The Chase Manhattan Corporation, among others.
