Professional Experience
With nearly 20 years working in agency for tech brands, I’ve picked up a fair bit of sector expertise. I’ve been lucky to work with a whole host of companies from industry giants like Alcatel-Lucent and Sophos to innovative startups like Iceotope and UKCloud. My particular focus has been working with companies to develop thought leadership campaigns, elevating tech firms into the mainstream media. I’ve also got a Masters degree in PR from Stirling University.
It is better to lead from behind and to put others in front, especially when you celebrate victory when nice things occur. You take the front line when there is danger. Then people will appreciate your leadership.

How'd you get here?
I guess PR was in my blood – I’m lucky to be the person that doesn’t have to explain to my family what PR is because both my parents have worked in the industry. After a brief stint in government communications I got hooked on doing PR for tech companies and have been in the sector since the year 2000. I joined Finn Partners in 2014 following the acquisition of Johnson King where I was MD.
