How'd You Get Here?
I began my career in the financial services industry, cutting my teeth in investment banking, research and portfolio management. After graduate school, followed by months working in Spain coaching corporate executives, I landed in New York and began my investor relations agency career. The first years were working with ex-US companies of all sizes and industries raising their profile in the US financial community, with an eye toward accessing capital in the US public markets. Capital fuels expansion and I’ve spent the past 20 years working in health with companies in the biotech, medtech and diagnostic sectors enabling them to tell their story and secure the resources to ensure innovation continues to improve people’s lives.
I’ve spent my investor relations career at agencies. This is the creative side of the service table where I can combine my dedication to private, pre-IPO and publicly traded health companies around the world with the skill – and resources – needed to cement their connections with investors who can reaffirm the value of biomedical and life science ideas and innovations. I’m proud part of many multi-year client relationships, as well as earning the trust and confidence of clients who recognize me as an extension of their “in-house” team. Outside perspective is essential to honing communications programs to each company’s need and objectives that address health ecosystem needs. Among the most rewarding aspects of my career is working with companies who take products from the development bench, through FDA approval, and ultimately, seeing how innovation can improve the human condition.
