“FINN’s Global Travel practice is one of our largest and most robust practices, spanning 200 plus dedicated professionals and generating over $30 million in annual fees,” said Peter Finn. “As one of the largest dedicated travel practices within any agency, we continue to see healthy demand for our integrated PR and marketing services. Maïté joins us as a proven business leader whose deep experience is exactly what we need to meet the evolving demands of the global market. Her appointment reinforces our travel leadership position and commitment to delivering exceptional results for our clients.”

Conway brings more than 23 years of experience in the travel, tourism, and hospitality industry, having successfully represented domestic and international tourism destinations, luxury hotels, airlines, cruise lines, restaurants, and related hospitality products and services. She is recognized as a senior resource for high-level strategy, problem-solving, and for identifying partnership opportunities that enhance client visibility and brand positioning.

Most recently, Conway served as Managing Director, International Marketing and Communications for MMGY. Prior to that, she was integral in developing a Destination Marketing arm for Wagstaff Media & Marketing, heading up business development, and representing varied tourism destinations, including the South Australian Tourism Commission, Tourism Western Australia, the Italian National Tourist Board (ENIT), Beverly Hills CVB, and Visit Carlsbad. A seasoned leader with strong relationships across media, hospitality, and tourism sectors, she has significant experience in integrated destination promotion strategies, brand development, and a proven track record of generating significant return on investment (ROI).

Her global perspective is rooted in a unique personal history. Growing up as the daughter of a United Nations diplomat, Conway lived in Africa, Asia, Europe, and Latin America, along the way becoming fluent in French and Spanish and proficient in Italian. Her extensive background in marketing, public relations, and sales began with roles at the esteemed Regent Beverly Wilshire Hotel, a Four Seasons property. She received her B.A. in business economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Debbie Flynn, Global Travel Practice Lead, commented on the significance of the hire amid current industry trends: “As the global travel sector continues its strong trajectory, major forecasts project the sector’s total economic contribution to reach $11.7 trillion by the end of 2025, driven by a shift toward more sustainable, experiential, and digitally integrated travel. Our clients require partners who understand this complex landscape, which will only accelerate with WTTC predicting that by 2035 this figure will reach $16.5 trillion. Maïté’s exceptional U.S. experience in integrated marketing, high-level destination representation, and sophisticated hospitality PR will strengthen our current client portfolio and fuel our future growth globally.”

“The FINN Partners model, particularly its collaborative, blended teams, is a strong differentiator in a growing global travel market,” said Conway. “Today’s travel clients demand holistic solutions beyond traditional PR; they need to use multi-channel communications to reach their audiences, and specialty knowledge to help them with public affairs, economic development, lifestyle brand building, and health and wellness. I am excited to work across these deeply specialized practices to deliver high-impact strategies that meet the complex needs of modern travelers and destinations.”
