Focus includes elevating a rich diversity of destination offerings to North American travelers
NEW YORK, November 24, 2020 – FINN Partners, one of the world’s fastest growing global marketing and communications agencies has been appointed by Dubai’s Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (Dubai Tourism) as their integrated communications agency in the U.S. and Canada. The firm’s New York and Los Angeles based travel PR experts, led by Managing Partner Virginia M. Sheridan, will focus on communications positioning, media and trade relations, promotions, strategic brand alliances, experiential marketing initiatives, special events and supporting influencer marketing and social media campaigns.
The appointment’s main objective was to find a strong partner in-market to elevate Dubai’s destination positioning and increase awareness about the emirates’ history and culture, arts and entertainment, gastronomy and adventure offerings, as well as solidifying the city as a top international travel destination for North American visitors.
Working with Dubai Tourism expands upon FINN’s global expertise in working with top travel brands and joins an impressive roster of clients serviced by the agency, including Brand USA, I Love NY, the Jamaica Tourist Board, South African Tourism, Dubai Tourism UK, Turkish Airlines, and Allianz Travel, among others. The award-winning agency was most recently recognized by Forbes with its highest ranking of five stars as one of America’s Best PR Agencies 2021.
“As the fourth most visited city in the world, Dubai is a flourishing world-class destination with an enviable recognition for innovation, imagination and strong leadership; we are both honored and excited at the opportunity to represent this iconic and progressive city,” said Sheridan. “Dubai’s high level of accessibility and wide array of offerings from culture, adventure, nature, gastronomy and retail all feed into its best-in-class reputation as a preeminent emirate and 360-destination for global visitors.”
In addition to FINN’s already comprehensive scope of global travel-related services, the agency recently launched a new Global Travel Recovery Network leveraging internal and external expertise to help travel businesses recover from the impact of Covid-19. The network offers clients a range of communications and marketing services, tapping capabilities of the agency’s health, digital marketing, technology, sustainability, public affairs, and diversity practices.
