PR Account Director – Health PR

Finn Partners is looking for a talented Account Director, to join our growing Health PR Practice. Ideally, you will have 3-4 years of experience in health PR or have journalism background. As account director, you will support our senior partner in the management of client accounts. You will be directly responsible for some clients reporting to the senior partner to ensure that client expectations are being met. You will help to develop communications strategies and be responsible for communications planning. It is important that you keep up to date with NHS policy and developments in healthcare. Our ethos is to ensure every client is happy with the work we do for them and will recommend us to others.

 

Activities:

  • Client relations (attending client meetings, reporting directly to clients)
  • Communications strategy (helping to develop communications strategy and communications planning)
  • Client corporate documents (interviewing and copywriting)
  • Media relations (pitching articles to target media, building relationships with target media)
  • Press releases (writing, reviewing draft releases, or drafting and submitting to clients for sign off)
  • Award entries (reviewing draft submissions or interviewing, drafting and submitting online)
  • Research (reviewing policy and other NHS documents)
  • Client newsletters (interviewing and copywriting)
  • Case studies (interviews and drafting)
  • Events (supporting the managing director with planning and organisation)
  • Monitoring client websites
