Three years ago, we launched The Perfume Shop’s Scent Squad. A group of diverse influencers and content creators that FINN work with for product and seasonal launches for the retailer. For the retailer’s 30th anniversary year, we recommended that we appoint a brand ambassador.

GOAL

For The Perfume Shop’s 30th anniversary year, to select and announce a Brand Ambassador during the retailer’s 30th birthday party event to help bring the sparkle not only to the party but to the entire year.

The Work

The FINN team conducted an analytical review of appropriate talent and suggested AJ Odudu be The Perfume Shop’s Brand Ambassador, with the aim of announcing the brand partnership during the retailer’s 30th birthday party event to help bring the sparkle not only to the party but to the entire year.

Following the initial announcement activity, the team implemented a year-long content plan of media, social, supplier and internal comms outreach including activity around Father’s Day, summer picks, launching the brand’s Love Perfume Awards, creating content for Black Friday and Christmas as well as an intimate press dinner with top tier beauty and lifestyle journalists.
