OUR WORK Sustainable Greece
A New Digital Home for Sustainable Greece
A full redesign to support a growing mission with clarity, scale and purpose.
Project summary
We completely overhauled the Sustainable Greece website, with a focus on usability and accessibility. Our approach began with a full site restructure, expanding the sitemap and refining the information architecture to create a clearer multi-page layout. Visually, we modernised the brand with a new colour palette, improved typography for better readability, and a photography strategy aligned with the organisation’s mission.
The result is a website that delivers clarity, not cognitive overload. It’s now easy for visitors to find information, learn about sustainability, and support the organisation’s mission. The new site is a functional tool that reinforces the brand’s focus on conscious and responsible travel.

The challenge
Sustainable Greece is on a mission to help travellers and citizens make more environmentally responsible choices. But their website was doing the opposite of what it needed to: the navigation was unclear, accessibility was poor and all of the content was crammed into a single, overwhelming page.
The tone felt geared toward general tourism, not conscious travel. There was no clear visual or structural hierarchy, which made the rich content hard to read—and even harder to act on.
Our job was to refocus the site around sustainability, create a clearer user experience and give the organization a digital platform that reflects its ambition and values.

Our approach
We began by untangling the content. That meant expanding the sitemap, restructuring the information architecture and giving each section room to breathe. We introduced semantic headings, clearer layout hierarchies, and refined navigation—helping users move through the site with purpose, not confusion.
Visually, we updated the brand with a more modern, confident feel. We introduced accessible colour contrast, improved typography for better readability and used photography with intent—to match the message, not just decorate the page.
The result is a site that’s as purposeful as the organization behind it.
“The new site captures who we are perfectly. It’s clean, confident, and easy to manage—our whole leadership team is impressed.””The difference is night and day. The new site is clearer, cleaner, and finally reflects the organisation we’re working so hard to build.”
