GT Nexus operates the world’s largest cloud-based supply chain management network, connecting 25,000 businesses trading $100bn annually. Central to its marketing is the message that cloud technology transforms supply chains through greater visibility, collaboration, and agility.
Finn Partners challenge was to raise GT Nexus’ profile as leading a revolution to move the $3 trillion global supply chain industry to the cloud, to position GT Nexus as a thought leader in cloud technology and the supply chain, and to ensure buyers in key verticals understood the GT Nexus story. We were tasked with doing this across four markets.
To achieve GT Nexus’ goals, we ran a series of comprehensive media relations and content creation campaigns co-ordinated across multiple regions, and verticals, including retail and manufacturing. Through our activity, we inserted GT Nexus into the debate on topical news items such as the need for greater transparency in the global retail supply chain and how to ensure backend warehousing and logistics effectively meets omnichannel demand. Our award-winning program employed GT Nexus-driven industry research issues hijacking, events and news generation to achieve a steady stream of coverage demonstrating product, market and thought leadership.
Over the time of our tenure we achieved consistently strong coverage in business, IT and trade media, totalling over 700 items across four markets, with standout coverage in the Financial Times, The Times, FAZ, Suddeutsche Zeitung, Les Echos, Le Monde, Wall Street Journal, Fortune, Forbes, Bloomberg TV, Fox Business, CIO, Retail Week, and The Manufacturer. The media coverage and GT Nexus' increased brand stature were directly tied to Board-driven sales leads from some of the world’s leading companies.
