October 27, 2016

Finn Partners announced today the appointment of Arielle Bernstein Pinsof, MPP, as partner in the agency’s Health Practice. Pinsof will be based in Chicago, reporting jointly to Dan Pooley, managing partner, Finn Partners Midwest, and Kristie Kuhl, JD, senior partner, Finn Partners Health Practice, in New York.

“With her expertise in public policy and health communications, and her passion for empowering patients, medical professionals and caregivers, Arielle has built a sterling industry reputation as a client counselor and team leader,” said Kuhl. “Arielle’s experience across a variety of client needs – from reimbursement to access communications to executive thought leadership – reinforces Finn Partners Health Practice skill to clients who have tapped the agency to support their business priorities,” she added.

Prior to joining Finn Partners, Pinsof was group vice president, Health Practice, at Makovsky + Company.  After earning a Master of Public Policy (MPP) degree from the University of Chicago, she was a research manager in the University’s Biological Sciences Division, focused on health economics research in oncology and rare diseases. Her peer-reviewed research was published in the Journal of Clinical Oncology (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/23423747), and she has presented research at health professional conferences such as the DIA-NORD Conference on Rare Diseases and Orphan Products.

“Healthcare communications, at its core, is about advancing public health and improving lives – for individuals, families, communities and society. I feel privileged to join a practice and agency committed to making a difference in the world through this work,” said Pinsof. “Addressing public health and client priorities requires knowledge of both patient-care issues and a complex marketplace. I am thrilled to work alongside talented Finn Partners Health colleagues in Chicago, across the country and around the globe in order to amaze clients and advocate for innovation that can improve people’s lives.”

“Finn Partners approaches the health sector holistically, reflecting the reality that patient advocates, payers, product innovators and policymakers all influence patient health – and one another – within the market ecosystem,” said Pooley. “Arielle brings a unique perspective on how to help clients make an impact and succeed in this arena. Her addition to our team signals added depth and real-world experience that continues to make Finn Partners Health Practice a go-to resource for industry-leading clients.”

Pinsof graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a BA in linguistics, and was named an Irving B. Harris Fellow at the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy where she received her Master’s in Public Policy.
