AAE/Account Executive, CSR & Social Impact

Finn Partners’ Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) & Social Impact practice works with a broad range of corporations, nonprofits, associations, and government agencies to raise awareness for major social causes and issues. Our campaigns on the digital divide, diversity & inclusion, sustainability, women’s economic empowerment, LGBTQ+ rights, mental health, veteran affairs, and health equity, have strengthened our clients’ reputations and elevated the voices of those on the frontlines. More importantly, they have led to tangible social impact across multiple sectors. This AAE/AE role is a full-time position to support clients across the CSR team’s portfolio. Although the practice is based out of Finn’s New York office, the Managing Partner is amenable to the AAE/AE working remotely or from another geographic area, (see website for Finn Partners USA office locations).


I. Job Summary:

This position in the Finn Partners’ CSR & Social Impact team provides an opportunity to work on social impact and sustainability campaigns for major corporations, non-profits and global foundations and advance social good through integrated communications and marketing. The ideal candidate will have experience as an intern or account coordinator with knowledge of media relations and ideally, the CSR space. As an Assistant Account Executive/ Account Executive, you will be a key member of our tight-knit, collaborative and highly motivated team engaged in a range of assignments including research, reporting, pitching earned media relation, and account management/reporting. You will be an active contributor to the high-quality work and earned media coverage we generate daily for an array of clients.


Specific responsibilities will include maintaining media database, generating reports and analytics to capture the impact of our work; securing media coverage across a wide range of consumer, business and trade publications; building and maintaining strong relationships with press; developing assets (Press Releases, Pitches, Fact Sheets, Media Briefings, etc.) that will pique media interest; and actively participating in team brainstorms and staff meetings. You will come equipped with an understanding of the media landscape, a thirst for knowledge and willingness to quickly learn; excellent writing skills; and strong attention to detail.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced agency environment
  • Ability to balance multiple clients and deadlines


Our campaigns in mental health, STEM education and digital inclusion, the environment and sustainability, women’s economic empowerment, truancy reduction, and public health, military veterans’ issues, and ending domestic violence and sexual assault, among other areas, have strengthened our clients’ thought leader positioning on these issues and have lifted the voices of those who are on the margins of our society. More importantly, it has led to real, tangible social impact in the variety of sectors in which we have worked.
