I’m an English and Economics major who needed a job, so I continued my education and earned an M.B.A. I also earned my Certified Public Accountant designation along the way. My financial education and business experience have been an important part of my success in working with CEOs and CFOs of public companies on their investor relations strategies and investor communications programs. I understand their business and the numbers that drive their business. I believe that is an important part in developing a solid investor communications program over the long term. I measure our success by the long tenure of many clients.
Organizing is what you do before you do something, so that when you do it, it is not all mixed up.– A.A. Milne

My career started at a regional bank. I worked in the marketing department while in school and then I joined the bank full time after earning my MBA. I worked with the bank’s CFO handling special projects. One of those projects was working on the corporation’s annual report to stockholders. This was a great opportunity to focus my marketing and financial skills and led to me taking on investor relations for the bank holding company. I was recruited later by a local investor relations firm, Corporate Communications, Inc., to join their growing business. I worked at CCI for 35 years and rose to be the firm’s President. I’ve enjoyed the diversity of clients and variety of work. We joined FINN Partners in 2021 to expand our resources to clients on their global platform.
