Ryan specializes in planning and executing integrated communications campaigns that weave multiple strategies together—like branding, media relations and social media—to accomplish clients’ objectives. With a particular emphasis on media relations, Ryan has led local and national programs for both major brands and unknown businesses seeking broader awareness. He develops and oversees public relations and marketing programs for a diverse group of clients in the technology, transportation, environment, real estate development, healthcare, financial services, legal and consumer products fields.
He is a board member of Matthew 25, a Nashville-based transitional housing program for homeless men and U.S. veterans, where he previously served as secretary.
Ryan was named to Nashville Business Journal’s “40 under 40” in 2017. He was also recognized twice as a finalist for the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce and YP Nashville’s annual Nashville Emerging Leaders Award (NELAs) in the Public Relations, Advertising and Marketing category. He was selected as a Nashville Emerging Leaders (NEL) and chaired its marketing and recruiting committee.
Prior to joining DVL Seigenthaler in 2002, Ryan worked for the Merritt Group, a public relations firm in Northern Virginia, providing account service to global technology companies including WorldCom and CACI.
