I’ve been working in the sustainability space since the beginning of my career. First at CARE, the humanitarian NGO, then the World Bank where I advised governments on environmental social and governance (ESG) policies, stakeholder engagement and public-private partnerships for over a decade. Those experiences, whether it was stakeholder engagement with the Taliban, building capacity in Ministries of Finance and Economics or developing a network of local women’s NGO’s, gave me the skills and expertise to tackle ESG performance in corporations. Our Sustainability & Social Impact practice not only tells our clients stories, but we help shape and transform business to improve both financial and societal impact.
I’ve advised Fortune 500 companies across a variety of industries including tech, finance, CPG and the extractives on sustainability strategy, disclosure and communications. Most recently, I led the U.S. Corporate Responsibility & Sustainability Practice Burson-Marsteller. Previously, I was the Sustainability Practice Leader at Environmental Resources Management (ERM) and launched the Chicago CSR & Sustainability practice at Edelman Chicago.
