With more than 20 years’ experience in senior roles in Irish politics and journalism, Aiden helps clients craft their message and reach their audience with maximum impact.
As the former Deputy Government Press Secretary, he acted as the lead spokesperson and communications adviser for the Green Party between 2021 and 2024 as it implemented one of the most ambitious policy programmes in Irish political history.
Prior to this, he enjoyed a successful career in journalism, including as political correspondent for the Business Post, Head of News for the Irish Daily Mail and business reporter in Latin America.
A proud farmer’s son from Kerry, he brings a strategic focus to his work as well as sharp political analysis and understanding of the media landscape.

How'd you get here
While struggling to figure out what I should do in university, a wise person asked me what I did in my spare time. The answer was, “I like to read newspapers”, which led to a fun and fascinating two decades in the newspaper industry. When I got the tap on the shoulder asking me if I fancied working in government, my curiosity about what really happens inside the machinery of State was too great to resist. I’m delighted that FINN Partners have now given me the opportunity to put my experience of both journalism and politics to good use to help clients put their best foot forward when representing themselves.
