I joined this team in October 2010 after fifteen years of running Bock Communications, one of the most successful boutique firms focused on telecom and mobile communications. Why? I was impressed with its reputation of running a boutique agency based on good-old fashioned entrepreneur values, but yet also known for its solid global agency foundation married with cutting edge and strategic approaches. It was a great match, and, now as part of Finn Partners, I'm proud to run one of the most successful mobile practices in the industry.
With more than 20 years of PR experience, I have a true passion for mobile communications—both the global business aspects of how it's all done, and how it's changing people's lives on a second-by-second basis. My love for technology coupled with creative, strategic public relations initiatives makes me want to get up in the morning. I'm passionate about it and people know it. And our clients feel it and love it.
My experience runs across the entire technology and mobile ecosystem—from representing one of the most prominent mobile industry associations in the world, CTIA—The Wireless Association, to Vonage, Qualcomm, IBM, Toshiba, Cisco, Comverse Technologies, Openwave, Mobile Entertainment Forum, CDMA Development Group, Microsoft, Jumptap, Kyocera, Alcatel Lucent, Nokia Venture Partners/Blue Run Ventures, Seven, Broadsoft, and Syniverse—to name just a few.
I am proud to be a recipient of 100+ PROTOS awards, recognized by the Public Relations Society of America. I started my career on the news assignment desk at CNN after receiving my Bachelors in Journalism from California State University, Long Beach. I then went on to work at a few other firms including MSL, Fleishman Hilliard, GCI, before forming my own firm.
Today, I am lucky enough to live in the beautiful seaside town of Laguna Beach, known for the world renowned Pageant of the Masters and beautiful galleries, art and artists, with my 5 year old daughter, Phoenix.
