At its core, Public Relations is about deciphering what is truly important, sharing insights and engaging in a conversation with those who matter most. That is why I enjoy working with the clients at Finn Partners, providing strategic counsel, crisis communication guidance and corporate branding. It is also the reason I love being an adjunct professor at the graduate school at USC, teaching the next generations of public relations professionals.
As a partner focused on consumer marketing, I am deep in the trenches with my team, leading some of our agency's top tier clients, such as Bosch home appliances, Dole Packaged Foods, RIDEMAKERZ, Jim Henson Company, Kikkoman USA and Whole Foods Markets. In addition to my account management responsibilities, I strive to create an environment where the entire team is constantly growing, learning and staying one step ahead of the dynamically changing media environment.
One part of my day that I really relish is crafting the perfect statement to clearly position a product or situation and then helping senior executives deliver the message in interviews and presentations. My style of encouraging and developing an executive's unique voice has lead to me to be called upon by executives at eBay, Nestlé, and Disney as well as author the chapter "Good Quotes Come From Good Key Messages" in PR News Media Training Guidebook.
As a Boomer and official member of the Sandwich Generation, I am a master at balancing the needs and wants of not only my kids and my parents, but also my husband and work. I believe that my successes at juggling can be attributed to a spirit of partnership at Finn Partners that encourages and supports us as we live and enjoy our busy lives.
